Finding a dentist in Phoenix, Arizona that accepts your insurance plan is no easy task. This is especially true if you’re unsure whether or not they either accept it or if they’re not in your insurance company’s network. Either way, it can be a waste of time calling practice after practice trying to figure out whether or not they will accept you as a patient. Fortunately, your search ends now, because Open Wide Dental welcomes all PPO dental plans. Nothing is more important to us than your oral health. We will make sure that you are covered for whatever procedures and treatments you need.
Your First Visit with Open Wide Dental
Yes, we’re not huge fans of paperwork either, but it is essential for all new patients to fill out all the necessary forms upon their initial visit to our practice. One of the papers will require you to fill out your insurance information. Once the paperwork is submitted, we will contact your insurance company to get as much information as we can about your policy. This way, we’ll know what will be covered in your plan and what won’t be.
We Will Check for Other Coverage Options
Have an insurance plan that doesn’t cover some of our procedures? No problem. We will double check to make sure that there are other insurance options out there for you. This way, you have a policy that can cover your dental needs, even if your primary policy won’t. It’s all part of what we do for our new patients here at Open Wide Dental. We want you to be one of our patients for a long time, and it starts with making sure that we’ve got your bases covered.
Ryan White Program
Treating people with HIV/AIDS requires a program that understands the needs of these patients. At Open Wide Dental, we proudly accept folks in the Ryan White Program. This program is designed to help low-income patients affected with HIV/AIDS, including children. There are several ways the program helps people get treatment:
- Pre-Existing Conditions: No longer are insurance companies allowed to deny treatment based on HIV/AIDS diagnosis
- Medicaid Expansion: Allows for more folks to get the treatment they need despite being low-income patients
- Coverage: Grant programs allows for deductibles and other insurance coverages to be paid for
- Community Providers: Providers serving low-income clients with HIV/AIDS must be included in all “in-network” programs in marketplace plans
